Candy landed in BC at 1:00 am April 11, 2009 and showed in the Pug Club of Canada National Specialty Show in Chilliwack that morning taking “Best in Sweep Stakes” at the Canadian National Pug Specialty in Chilliwack under breeder Judge Carla Rose. Then Winners Bitch at the Canadian Pug National Specialty under the well respected Judge, Dr. Harry Smith.
Not shown again until June 27, 28 and 29, 2009, Candy took “Best of Breed” five times at the six shows in Merritt held by the Nicola Valley Kennel Club, also placing 4th in Group. Thank you to the judges who acknowledged this perky and pretty little girl. Jimary’s Miss Show and Tell “T” went “Best of Breed”, at the other show in Merritt, keeping the wins all in the family.
Candy quickly won her Championship title. She is a sharp and sassy girl of correct size, bone, coat and pigment, with fire in her eyes. She is a sweet heart to own, a darling to show and a Pit Pug protecting her yard. Thank you, Jim and Mary Lou Dymond for parting with your best. Candy retired to motherhood and whelped Duc and Pixel. She has consistently reproduced puppies with her quality traits.
Candy was owner/handled to her Championship.
